Guild Starfire VII

Guild Starfire VII 1964 hollow body with interesting electrics. With the pickup selector in the middle position and both volume controls on full the pickups appear to be out of phase. In this position, the slightest turn down on a volume control seems to put them back in phase with the other pickup as the master. I'm told this is correct and as the neck is the best I have ever found on a 12 string, who cares. It seems that 12 string necks are usually too narrow or too wide or the profile is completely wrong to me, but this is as near perfect as I've ever tried and being as it's the first year they were made perhaps it was a mistake. They got it right!
