This is a relatavely unknown model which Leo Fender brought out in opposition to Gibson's semi accoustic models but never really gained popularity. Initially it was a one pick-up model but this Coronado2 came later with 2 single coils. It has a fairly rounded fingerboard and although I prefer the Gibson ES125 slim bodied model to play as an accoustic without plugging into an amp. the coronado has a brighter soung with amplification. This makes me choose the guitar for the mood/song as both are brilliant in their own way. The Coronado2 is the cheaper of the two to buy, if you can find one, but I can't honestley say that I prefer one or the other.
